Paramus, NJ Public Hearing Video on Monday 10/26/2009

A few of us attended this Public Hearing, Spikey, Dumwaldo, Gregg Perrielli, Darnell White, who is the owner of Smoking Everywhere in the Garden State Mall on Route 17 in Paramus, NJ and myself SMOKIE, but I was video tapping this hearing, and I did get up to speak, but no video of me, because I had to but the recorder down.
These four Vapers did an outstanding presentation, as for myself I am not a great public speaker, but I did express my views to everyone.
I especially was very impressed with Spikey, and Dumwaldo, those politicians were stunned, with their mouths open at times looking at each other with disbelief of how educated they were about e-cigs.
This is the first time I have owned, and used a recorder, plus it is the first time uploading, editing, etc, for me, so please give me a BREAK, lol.
I could only do 10 min at a time on YouTube, so here is the first video of Spikey only, that I have edited so far, I will have 2 or 3 more videos of the other Vapers speaking to follow, I know don't quit my day job.

Great job, Spikey and to you, Smokie.
Those people did look dumfounded at having this information laid at their disposal.
That having been said, ignorance and passing legislation based on ignorance is a long way from being new.

Ooops... I should not talk so fast... I screwed up twice... no.. actually 3 times. Some might not catch all the mistakes.. but I know treece will! They pulled me in to speak while I was talking to a reporter and I mis-spoke on THREE occasions! Well... I spoke fast enough that most of them won't remember a damn thing I said anyway. If they even listened to us.

2 anti's there... that Al Ferrara guy and Karen Blumenfeld/Blumfeld from GASP (?). I have heard both names in recent articles... but can't believe that crazy bitch went up there after all the shit we told them and gave them 7 papers telling them where these have already been restricted or banned and zero scientific information! What a crackpot! If everyone else jumps off the bridge... ????

Anyway... Al went the antifreeze way. Whatever... we had already told them that DEG was found in ONE sample and is not an ingredient.. but a mistake. So less damage done. What happened to Bonnie from RtV??? I thought she was coming?

Waldo is a fantastic public speaker and I am very lucky to have him as a cohort... thank goodness he is on our side

I hope someone addressed that if they ban them, some folks may feel forced to go back to smoking and that would make that council directly responsible for that smoker if they die.

They are only banning indoor use... so instead smokie and gregg said if they had never tried them at the mall and liked them they might never have bought one or been able to quit smoking

It is hard to get enough info across in 5 min. Better than 3 min.. but still not enuf.

We need to do a 30 min presentation.

Bonnie has been sidetracked by some personal issues. We hope all is well with her and that she will be returning shortly. I haven't watched the video yet, but I thank you guys for your efforts.

Great job, all! Just your efforts, alone, are noteworthy and praiseworthy. Looking forward to seeing the other videos once you get them up, Smokie.
